Col Bailey

Col Bailey is a retired landscape gardener and bushwalker, and also a canoeist and marathon race walker who once held the Australian 50-mile walk race record. In early 1967 he chanced upon a Tasmanian tiger while canoeing along the Coorong in South Australia. Since then he’s been motivated to prove to the world that this animal still exists. His previous books are Tiger Tales and Shadow of the Thylacine. He lives in Tasmania.
