William Sitwell

William Sitwell is an award-winning editor, broadcaster, writer and food critic. Best known as a critic on the BBC show MasterChef, he’s the long-standing editor of Waitrose Food magazine and writes about food for a variety of newspapers and magazines. As Editorial Director at John Brown Media, he has launched food magazines for supermarkets across the world from Dubai to Boston.

In the UK his weekly show, Biting Talk, on Soho Radio, features the biggest names and new talent from the food and drink world. William has also been named Editor of the Year in awards from both the British Society of Magazine Editors and the Association of Publishing Agencies, and most recently from the Content Marketing Association in 2016. He is the author of A History of Food in 100 Recipes, and the much lauded Eggs or Anarchy, the extraordinary story of how food minister Lord Woolton fed Britain in World War Two.
